Evaluate the bio-efficacy of Imidacloprid 17.8 SL against aphid Aphis gossypii glover on Okra Abelmoschus esculentus (L.) Moench
(EM International, 2016) Raj Veer; Vijay Kumar Mishra; Gopi Ram Yadav; Deepika Chuahan; R.S. Bisht
During kharif cropping season, During kharif cropping season, the treatment of Imidacloprid 17.8% SL @ 40 g a.i./ha has been found most effective insecticide against the population of Aphis gossypii on okra followed by Imidacloprid 17.8% SL @ 30 g a.i./ha. Maximum fruit yield (14.97 T/ha) was also recorded with Imidacloprid 17.8% SL @ 40 g a.i./ha treated plots. However, Imidacloprid 17.8% SL @ 10 and 20 g a.i./ha and Quinalphos 25% EC (FLASH) @ 250 g a.i./ha, where the aphid population was significantly less than untreated control appeared to be the safest treatment to non target organism.
