On the Application of OVFF to MX6 Type Ions
    (1972) J.N. Rai; S.N. Tiwary; S.N. Rai
Force constants for nine ions belonging to Oh point group have been evaluated by using Orbital Valence Force Field. The constants have been compared with their values obtained by using Urey-Bradley Force Field. The validity of the two methods has been discussed. © 1972, Walter de Gruyter. All rights reserved.

The near ultraviolet emission spectrum of m-fluorochlorobenzene
    (1967) J.N. Rai; K.N. Upadhya
The emission spectrum of the m-fluorochlorobenzene molecule, obtained by means of a controlled transformer discharge through the flowing vapor of the substance, has been recorded on Zeiss medium quartz spectrograph. It lies in the region 2550-3000 Å with a weak continous background on the short wavelength side and strong background on the longer wavelength side. The vibrational analysis, presented in this paper, assumes four excited state vibrational frequencies 376, 474, 666, and 835 cm-1; eleven ground-state vibrational frequencies 196, 242, 414, 516, 687, 884, 998, 1065, 1139, 1222, and 1426 cm-1 and two difference frequencies 81 and 69 cm-1. © 1967.

Vibrational spectra of para-fluoro- and para-chloroanisole
    (1966) J.N. Rai; K.N. Upadhya
The infra-red absorption spectra of liquid p-fluoro- and p-chloroanisole have been recorded. Vibrational assignments have been made on the basis of Cs symmetry. © 1966.
