Dermatophyte Infection of the Penis: Association with A Particular Undergarment
    (1981) S.S. Pandev; S. Chandra; P.K. Guha; P. Kaur; G. Singh
ABSTRACT: Penile involvement was seen in 19.5% of 261 patients, aged 11 to 30 years, with tinea cruris. It was more common in patients under the age of (20 years (p < 0.05). The increased incidence is probably related to the use of langota. a semiocclusive undergarment that may favor the growth of dermatophytes. Copyright © 1981, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved

    Family studies of leprosy cases
    (1985) P.K. Guha; S.S. Pandey; G. Singh; P. Kaur
First degree relatives among the intrafamilial contacts of 400 leprosy patients were examined to detect any evidence of the disease in them. The type of leprosy detected in contacts in relation to that in the index cases was analysed, in order to evaluate the role of a genetic factor in determining the type of leprosy one suffers from. Observations in this study, however, do not tend to indicate the existence of a genetic diathesis.
