A study on the influence of government, financial and incubation support on the success of startups in IT Cities of India
(International University of Sarajevo, 2024) Shubham Mishra; Jyoti Bhargava; Shalini Singh; Niharika Singh; Roopam kumari; Ruhul Amin
This paper revolves around the concept of start-ups in IT Cities of India. Start-ups are mostly created based on creative and innovative ideas and grow to achieve success. Start-up companies are newly established companies which generally strive for existence due to some challenges. The basic purpose of this paper is to put some light on the factors influencing the success of startups in IT Cities of India. factors include Government support, Incubation support and financial support which is again sub divided into various sub factors having an influence on the success of startups in IT Cities of India. An attempt is made to review the literature and based on which primary data were collected from various Start-up Unit, start- up owner, CEO through questionnaire and the total of 309 respondents have been analyzed. Based on data collected all the three factors have been analyzed and proposed some suggestions and strategies. © The Author 2024. Application of thermodynamic model to study the phase transition properties of surface stabilized ferroelectric liquid crystals
(Taylor and Francis Ltd., 2019) Shubha Singh; Shubham Mishra; Abhilasha Singh; Shri Singh
Based on a thermodynamic model, as developed by us [Singh A, Singh S. Thermodynamic model for the description of smectic C* and smectic A–smectic C* phase transition properties. Phase Transit. 2010;83:205–222; Singh S, Singh S. Thermodynamic model for the investigation of phase transition properties of homologous series of nAL and nHL ferroicmesogens. Phase Transit. 2014;87:427–437], we have studied relative temperature dependences of spontaneous polarization and tilt angle for three members C10, C11 and C12 of a homologous series, biphenyl alkyloxy benzoate, of surface stabilized ferroelectric liquid crystal (SSFLC) material. We found that the order parameter coupling terms make crucial contributions to the transition parameters and have to be included in free-energy density expansion. The values of these parameters depend on the length of terminal alkyl chain. A close agreement between theory and experiment has been found. © 2019, © 2019 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

Twist-Bend Nematic Phase: Role of Third-Order Legendre Polynomial Term in Chiral Interaction Potential
(Springer, 2020) Shubham Mishra; Dhananjay Kumar Gaur; Shri Singh
Using a mean-field theory, a twist-bend nematic (NTB) phase has been described. In addition to second-order Legendre polynomial term, the chiral interaction potential includes third-order Legendre polynomial term also. It considers the coupling between a nematic director and a pitch axis of the NTB phase. The distortion free energy, order parameter for twist-bend nematic, and orientational distribution function in equilibrium state have been calculated. Based on the free energy minimization, we obtain that the inclusion of third-order Legendre polynomial term in interaction energy makes NTB phase more stable. © 2020, Sociedade Brasileira de Física.
