Abstract

A silver-catalyzed decarboxylative difunctionalization of cinnamic acids has been developed to afford a variety of α-trifluoromethylthiolated ketones under mild reaction conditions using in situ generated SCF3 source by the combination of Langlois’ reagent and CS2. © 2018 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
