dc.description.abstractThe effect of the deuteron breakup channel on the elastic scattering of deuteron lead targets around 80 MeV incident deuteron energy has been examined. It is found that the large difference between experimental values and folding model predictions could mostly be explained in terms of deuteron breakup effects.
