Theoretical Ne VI/Mg VI line diagnostics for SUMER

Abstract

Theoretical Ne vi/Mg vi EUV line emissivity ratios, suitable for density-measurements in various solar features such as active regions, sunspots, umbrae and flare plasmas and to be observed in the SUMER spectral range, are presented and their applications discussed with the help of available observational data. © 1995 Kluwer Academic Publishers.
