A chemical bath deposition technique was used to obtain n-CdS and lithium-doped CdS films. Lithium doping apparently decreases the band gap and lowers the resistivity, which are responsible for better performance of photoelectrochemical solar cells with the geometry CdS or CdS:Li/S2- S22-/ Pt. The CdS-S2-,S22- interface was electrochemically characterized. © 1987.
