dc.description.abstractPseudocercosporella andrographidis, a new foliicolous mucedinaceous hyphomycetous fungus (Mycosphaerellaceae) discovered on living leaves of Andrographis paniculata (Acanthaceae), is described and illustrated. The new species, which is the first Pseudocercosporella species on a host of the Acanthaceae, is compared with other species of the Mycosphaerellaceae described on Andrographis spp.
