dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a new approach to the problem of system identification of linear time invariant systems through the application of Block-Pulse Functions. The application of BPF in the identification of the system parameters results in a computationally convenient and extremely simple procedure involving elegant matrix algebra. This approach does not involve any iterations.
