Abstract

It has been shown that the only steady, inviscid, magnetogeostrophic rotational circulation-preverving motion whose magnetic field line pattern is that of the irrotational motion is a complex-lamellar motion whose magnetic field magnitude bears a constant value on a magnetic field line. © 1987 D.
