Abstract
A new species of the subfamily Trypetinae, Magnimyiolia perennifascia Singh & David, sp. nov. (Trypetini) is described from India. Two species of subfamily Phytalmiinae, Ectopomyia baculigera Hardy and Ptilona conformis Zia (Acantho-nevrini) are recorded for the first time from India.
