| dc.description.abstract | Among several chemical insecticides, Neem derivatives and microbial insecticides tested for their performance against major insect pests of pigeonpea at pod initiation stage, monocrotophos 36 SL (0.04%) sprayed thrice at 12 days interval gave highest protection and yielded maximum grain (1410 kg/ha) followed by Nimbecidine (0.3%) (1090 kg/ha). Minimum yield (590 kg/ha) was obtained from the plot sprayed with endosulfan 35% EC (0.07%). | |
