Abstract
One should have adequate amount of good quality sleep on a regular and consistent basis on weekdays and weekends along with adequate amount of physical activity and good nutrition for good health. We discuss current evidence in relation to sleep and physical activity and share how the general public can plan their 24 h incorporating adequate amount of good quality sleep and physical activity to achieve good health. We recommend 150 min of moderate to vigorous physical activity, 7–9 h of sleep and less than 8 h of sedentary time for adults. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
