Abstract
Techniques for selective isolation, semiquantification and rapid virulence testing are described for Catenaria angnillulae, an important endoparasitic fungus of nematodes. Selective isolation was achieved by using second-stage juveniles of Anguina Iritici as bait in soil aliquots for 48 h. Semiquantitative estimation of the population of the fungus was made by calculating the infection percentage of inoculated juveniles. Rapid virulence testing was done by using second-stage juveniles of Heterodera cajani, Meloidogyne incognita and A. tritici.
