dc.description.abstractA study of detailed pattern of solvent effects on proton transfer equilibrium between m-fluorobenzoic acid and the carbinol base of crystal violet in eight select apolar aprotic solvents shows that the solvent effect is contributed by electrostatic and dispersion interactions in an almost equal ratio (48: 52).
