Juvenile epithelial malignancy of head and neck

Abstract

Children aged 15 yr or less usually suffer from malignant mesenchymal neoplasms. Observations on 4 rare cases of juvenile carcinomas (larynx, maxillary antrum, upper lip, and parotid) are reported. No particular etiologic factor could be found in these cases. Age, as such, had no effect on the clinical presentation of the disease, its management or prognosis.
