dc.description.abstractThe equation of state, thermal expansion, and isothermal compressibilities of solidified argon and krypton are studied in the harmonic approximation. An exponential interatomic potential is used, and zero‐point quantum effects are included. There is good agreement between the calculated and the observed values.
