The effect of magnetic pole and exposure time dependent water structures on liver of a fish Clarias batrachus was studied. Magnetic restructuring of water was done for 1, 3, 5, and 8 h of exposure at 0.297 0.003 T. Study revealed that magnetically restructured water induced different changes of hepatic cell density, size, and nuclear diameter. We suggest that this is due to differential partitioning between and among the extracellular, intracellular, and nuclear solutions. The degenerative changes are highly significant. © 1995 Informa UK Ltd All rights reserved: reproduction in whole or part not permitted.
