Abstract

The maximum reduction of diamondback moth larval population over control was observed in spinosad (58.82%) followed by lufenuron (55.18%). The moderately effective group of insecticides for reduction of larval population over control was fipronil (49.46%), emamectin benzoate (43.63%), chlorpyrifos (42.98%), novaluron (42.00%) and indoxacarb (39.34%). Azadirachtin (32.01%) found least effective. Two sprays (42.92%) were found more effective in controlling P. xylostella than single spray (47.93%). © MPH.
