Germanium ionization detectors having sensitivities as low as 100 eV open new windows for the studies of neutrino and dark matter physics. This novel detector demands overcoming several challenges at both hardware and software levels. The amplitude of physics signals is comparable to those due to fluctuations of the pedestal electronic noise in low energy range. Therefore, it is important to study the low energy calibration properly. In this article, we focus on the optimization of the calibration scheme. © 2017, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science.
