| dc.description.abstract | A set of hitherto unreported 13- to 20-membered Schiff base macrocycles have been synthesized by the reaction of Schiff base with dielectrophiles via the intermediacy of remote dianion in non-template method. The structural features of the synthesized macrocycles have been determined by their satisfactory elemental analyses and spectral (IR, 1H, 13C NMR and Mass) studies. | |
