Simple approach for the detection and identification of individual gases/odours using an integrated sensor array

Abstract

In the present paper, a simple pattern recognition approach for application in the detection and identification of individual gases/odours using the response of an array of eight sensors has been presented. The proposed approach has been validated using experimental data for three different gases.
