In this article, we consider the case when the lifetime of an individual or a component follows an inverse Maxwell distribution. In classical approach, we obtained the point, asymptotic confidence interval and boot-p interval estimation of the parameters of inverse Maxwell distribution. We also applied Bayesian approach under square error loss function to obtain point and highest posterior density interval estimation. For illustration, simulation result is established.
