Abstract

An efficient and straightforward synthesis of α-ketothioamides has been accomplished via in situ decarboxylative oxidative thioamidation using α,β-unsaturated arylcarboxylic acids, alicyclic secondary amines and elemental sulfur under solvent-free aerobic conditions. © 2021 Wiley-VCH GmbH.
