Bioactive compost: An approach for managing plant growth in environmentally stressed soils

Abstract

The use of bioactive compost for improving the quality of plants and to increase their growth and yield in environmentally stressed soils is a promising approach as they contain beneficial microorganisms as one of the components applied to the soil supplying the plants with its nutritional needs by converting elements through their biological activity from unavailable form to available form which can be absorbed and assimilated.
