Abstract

1. To investigate the in vitro anticancer activity of the three Dendrobium species ethanolic extracts. 2. To determine the cytotoxic effect of the extracts against both normal and cancer cell lines. 3. To study the effect of plant extracts on induction of apoptosis in cancer cells. 4. To elucidate the effect of the plant extracts on the expression of apoptotic proteins and genes in cancer cell lines. 5. To investigate the anticancer activity of the Dendrobium species ethanolic extracts in in vivo condition.
